Light Bio Community Guidelines
Welcome to the Light Bio community! We are thrilled to have a space where plant lovers, science enthusiasts, and "Glow-Getters" can share their experiences with the Firefly Petunia.
To ensure our social media channels and digital spaces remain a place of wonder and discovery, we ask all members of our community to follow these guidelines. By interacting with our pages, you agree to the following:
1. Respect Our Community
The Firefly Petunia brings people together from all walks of life. We have a zero-tolerance policy for personal attacks, harassment, bullying, or "ad hominem" remarks directed at our customers or followers.
- Do: Share your tips, photos, and excitement.
- Don’t: Insult, mock, or belittle other community members. We will remove any comments that target individuals.
2. Healthy Debate vs. Hostility
We love talking about the science of bioluminescence! We welcome questions and constructive skepticism. However, we do not permit:
- Hate Speech: Any comments that promote violence or discrimination.
- Aggressive Language: Profanity, shouting (ALL CAPS), or hostile threats.
- Spam: Repeatedly posting the same comment or off-topic links.
3. Neutrality on External Issues
Light Bio is a biotechnology company focused on plant innovation. Our social media pages are not a forum for local, state, or national political disputes.
- We partner with many independent retailers and nurseries. These businesses manage their own affairs, and their private activities or political affiliations do not represent Light Bio.
- We reserve the right to remove comments that attempt to use our platform to promote external political agendas or protest third-party businesses.
4. Authenticity & Safety
To protect our customers from scams:
- No Seed Sales: Light Bio does not sell seeds. Any posts or comments promoting "Firefly Petunia seeds" are unauthorized and likely fraudulent. We will remove these links immediately to protect our community.
- No Impersonation: Please do not claim to speak for Light Bio unless you are a verified employee.
5. Moderation & Enforcement
To keep our community safe, our team monitors our pages regularly. We use both automated tools and human review to enforce these rules. If a post violates these guidelines, we may:
- Hide or Delete the comment.
- Issue a Warning via private message.
- Ban or Block the user from our social media channels without notice for severe or repeat offenses.
